Additional Experiences
Geraldine R. Dodge Teacher Fellow: I wrote a proposal for a teacher fellowship to visit Ecuador during Summer 2007. While in Ecuador, I traveled through the Andes Mountains on a public bus, explored the Amazon Rainforest on a canoe, and sailed the Galapagos Islands. After returning from Ecuador, I designed and co-taught an interdisciplinary unit about Ecuador during Hispanic Heritage Month for students in grades K-2.

Study Abroad: During Winter/Spring 2003, I studied at University College London. My concentration was in European Cultural Studies. While not studying in the lecture halls, I backpacked extensively through the United Kingdom, Italy, France and the Czech Republic.
